I have moved away, so I have no need of the service and the term I agreed to has expired. I signed up for Guardian Protection Services when I bought my first home last year on October 31st 2021. The technician who installed the equipment failed to tell me that I needed a new Transformer until after he was done installing the equipment. He explained that the equipment would not work right without a new Transformer.
I had a complete diary of what had gone on prior to my arriving back home so if the endor tried to pull a fast one in any way I would kno wthe difference. I appreciate the comfort of knowing that no one can infiltrate our home or even come to the front door without our knowledge. We have found the equipment to be very reliable and the app exceptionally easy to use. I think the equipment is very nice, the pad in the kitchen is very state of the art and it provides a lot of information.
I recently moved and they made the transfer to my new home seamless. Their prices are competitive and they're always there for me. The only reason I'm not giving them a fifth star is because I'm hoping they will upgrade the Life Alert with new features like a fall detector and a GPS so it can be used away from home. They canceled my contract without my knowledge when my tenant tried to transfer the account into his name. Instead they opened a new account and charged the same home twice.
This company misrepresented terms of the agreement. Did not mention penalty clause of 750 dollars for cancelling contract. They said they would put in window sensors and they did not. They put the door bell in the wrong place and I could not have a screen door installed because of it and they installed the entry pad in the opposite wall.
They were very willing to work with me and the budget I had. The guy that came to install it was extremely knowledgeable and made sure I understood the whole system before he left. Even the salesman made sure we were getting the best system. There is a delay sometimes when the doorbell ring but that is my only feedback. Yes, Guardian Protection offers a variety of home automation capabilities.
I've always had outstanding support from customer service whenever I call in. They provide the service I need without any hesitation. Their system does the performance that I am looking for and demanding and they give me an overall sense of security and peace.
Not knowingly the existing equipment is very old. They replaced none working sensors at the time. But after a few months, the other old sensors started acting up here and there. It is as if you were buying a new car but given a new car with a used engine, then you have to pay to repair the old engine. All in all, Guardian can be an excellent choice for people who value and prioritize hardware, equipment, and technology. Guardian Protection is a pretty big name in home security, despite only operating in twenty states.
